Cynthia joined Schaffer, Lax, McNaughton & Chen (Chen Horwitz & Franklin’s predecessor firm) in 2005. Cynthia’s practice is concentrated in construction, representing developers, general contractors, design professionals, subcontractors, manufacturers and suppliers. She has also represented contractors, property owners, and products manufacturers in premises liability, products liability, and personal injury actions. Cynthia has substantial experience in all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.

Cynthia received a B.A. degree from UCLA in 1996 (history and political science). She received her J.D. from Pepperdine School of Law in 1999. She is admitted to the State Bar of California and is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
